Ceilidh

Céilidh Music

A Céilidh is a traditional Gaelic social gathering, which usually involved food, storytelling, music, and dancing. The name derives from the Gaelic word meaning visit and originally meant just that.  When clan members gathered, or multiple clans gathered,  it provided just the excuse for a party.  At the Loch Lomond Highland Games, we continue this tradition with our own take on the Céilidh.

For a mere $12.50 you coin us Saturday evening (6:30 to 9:00) for great food, wonderful stories, a bit of magic, and, of course, live music that will make you want to dance. Tickets can be purchased at the Loch Lomond Celtic Society booth on the south side of the athletic field.
